Over 150 people attended and participated at the KOs 3rd Annual ‘Knock Out in the Okanagan Tournament’ at Constable Neil Bruce Middle School in Westbank.
4 BC League Teams competed giving their all to gain standings and points prior to the Provincial Finals to be held in Victoria on May 16,17th.
On Saturday, MLA Steve Thomson visited to present a cheque to the KOs from ViaSport and the Province of BC’s Hosting Grant, while the KOs provided lunches and snacks for the Athletes and Volunteers, and Vancouver Career College practicum student program donated Massages for athletes between games to help raise $100 for the KOs Volunteer Appreciation Fund and the College Grad Fund. MLA Steve Thomson is an avid supporter of sports, active for life, and All-Abilities programs such as the KOs in awareness and community opportunities.
